Fabbri, Robby
Fabbri had 37 points, including 19 goals, in his rookie season in 2015-16. Unfortunately, a significant injury sidelined him for several months, and his play never recovered. But since joining the Detroit Red Wings, things seem to be looking up. He is a mysterious player with a lot of potential.
Zadorov Nikita
With a 6'6" and 235 pound frame, the big defenceman should be ready soon. Zadorov is a hard-hitting prospect for the Habs. He can play superb field hockey with a simple game.
André Burakovsky
The Colorado Avalanche forward will be in demand. Burakovsky is a competent player with a good skating stroke. We'll bet he's on the radar of multiple league teams.
Andy Copp
Copp, 28, is no longer a rookie green, but he is young. Skilled in numerous circumstances, he is a valuable unrestricted free agent signing. But the summer is still far away, and the Jets will likely do whatever to keep the forward. Like Burakovsky, he will undoubtedly have multiple suitors. In only 55 games, he recorded 15 goals and 24 assists for 39 points.
John Gaudreau
Gaudreau is Andrew Copp's age. The Calgary Flames' star player is well-known. He's fast and has amazing skills. But at 5'9", he'd be another little guy for the Habs.
Hertl, Tomas
The Habs must target the San Jose Sharks forward. Tomas Hertl is a 6'2 215 lb centre who is a fan favourite. If he becomes a UFA next summer, Montreal must want him.
