An Alberta minor hockey tournament was robbed. Robbery of a minor hockey tournament for young children and teenagers under the age of 13 is sad enough, but these thieves chose to rob this tournament during a Christmas raffle.
The thieves likely knew about the raffle and stole items that would have been part of it.
Karen Hach, a parent of one of the players tweeted this:
'Sad news hockey familiesOur Millet tournament was robbed last night. Literally. Thieves broke into the arena and stole our liquor and wine baskets, as well as dozens of prizes. Our winners have generously forfeited their winnings, but we are still on the losing end.
Please help us by donating below and possibly winning the 50/50''
This is so sad and so wrong in so many ways.
Please share on social media so other teams don't get robbed and get the right security.
