Prep College Hockey Players Injured In Drunk Driving Incident With a Semi-Truck
Members of the Chicago St-Ignatius College Prep hockey team were involved in a scary accident with a drunk semi-truck driver Saturday night.
The team was on a bus home from a local restaurant when the accident occurred.
We now know that one person was ejected from the bus, and that three are in critical condition.
Following the event, the police offered some clarity on the situation.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the collision and arrested the semi driver. They said he was swerving and speeding before the crash.
This is a scary flashback to the tragedy of the Humboldt Broncos a few years ago.
Hopefully those in critical condition will recover, and we wish the best to them and their families.
