Earlier today, when addressing the ongoing deadlock between the Sabres and superstar Jack Eichel, former NHL goaltender Martin Biron delivered a bombshell on TSN1050 radio.
Biron said that regardless of whether or not Eichel receives the trade he craves, he won't be skating in the NHL in 2020-21. Not just the Sabres, but any club.
In other words, Eichel's neck injury will likely keep him out of the NHL in 2021-22.
More from Biron:
"I really doubt, really, really doubt that regardless of the surgery that Jack Eichel would be getting that he is going to play hockey this year in this 2021-22 season, I don't think that's going to happen".
