Carey Price, the goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens, voluntarily entered the NHL/NHLPA player assistance programme on Thursday morning.
Many fans have expressed their support for Price since the NHL's announcement. Tomas Plekanec and Dale Weise, two of his former colleagues, came to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to express their support.
