Report: Leafs GM places forward on the trade market

According to what Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic reports, Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas has placed forward Ilya Mikheyev on the trade market and is looking to trade his rights, before losing him, via the free agent market.
The 27-year-old Russian had 32 points in 53 games last season and added four points in seven playoff games.
He was paid $1.645 million last season.
