Last week, Toronto Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas expressed confidence in his team's ability to add goaltender help before the NHL Trade Deadline on March 21.

«We've got two good goalies,» he recently said. «I mean, Jack was an all-star this year, and Peter Mrazek has played close to 300 games in net and has been a solid goalie.»

In this market, we tend to go a little bit game-to-game, so I'm not concerned about either of them.

But with Jack Campbell out for two weeks and Mrazek underperforming , the plan looks to have changed.

Toronto seemed to be focusing on defence, but Chris Johnston noted on Insider Trading on TSN last night that all three positions require improvement:

«It was only a week and a half ago when Kyle Dubas told reporters he felt he only had capacity for one move before the deadline, to add one player, and I don't believe that's still the case. The Leafs have had some issues at that position, and my sources say they are still striving to upgrade at all three places in their lineup. To make any of this money work, they'll have to transfer someone off their roster if they make numerous signings, but that seems possible with six days left.»
