Washington Capitals forward Nicklas Backstrom spoke to the media today and it wasn't anything reassuring.
We'll see what happens. We have decisions to make...we'll take it one day at a time."- Nicklas Backstrom
Either he will have to retire or play with pain.
« The best thing I want to do is play hockey, and this is my life. Obviously, I want to be back. I want to get back to normal, not worrying about all this. We'll see what happens, nothing is finalized yet.
"The hip won't be 100 percent. That's something we all know. Some days are good, some days are not so good. That's life."- Nicklas Backstrom
Backstrom earns an average of $9.2 million per year for three more seasons.
