According to The Athletic's journalist and insider Pierre LeBrun, a new squad could enter the Petry derby.
LeBrun claimed on TSN's renowned Insider Trading segment yesterday that the Dallas Stars would be interested in Petry since they'll have to sell offensive defenseman John Klingberg in the coming weeks.
This is a reasonable scenario since Petry, who plays in a similar style to Klingberg, could replace him in the lineup and help the Stars make the playoffs.
