Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman said on Tuesday that Kane may ask the Blackhawks to trade him, given the lack of a successful retooling and the lack of time to win another Stanley Cup. Friedman said it on radio to Jeff Marek.
«I think one of the most intriguing situations to watch is Patrick Kane in Chicago. Because Kane is starting to wonder, what are we going to do here?
I believe opponents have asked the Blackhawks, "What are you doing with Kane here?" What are his chances of availability?
This would be NUTS! Ya I said it NUTS! Imagine Patrick Kane joining a contender team like Colorado or even Tampa? This would actually guarantee a Stanley Cup to that team.
