Seattle officially responds to leaked Maple Leafs pick

A video showing the famed Seattle Kraken was recently posted to Twitter, and the internet was alive with activity discussing it. Go ahead and check it out:

Everything looks legitimate about the video. In other words, the picks will be all well-known landmarks like the Space Needle and Pike Place Market in Seattle. Additionally, something like fishing implements were said to be part of each reveal. Following the video's release, the Seattle Kraken Twitter account issued a response.

Several things can be done here. Whether Seattle's Twitter account is being truthful or not, there's a good chance that's what it is. As with every NHL entry draught, there is a reasonable chance the Leafs will select the player who failed to meet expectations in a previous season and is attempting to cover up a clear leak. While social media administrators might not know who the pick will be, it is also possible that they are following orders from someone who does know the pick's identity but has no idea if the information revealed is legitimate. No matter what happens on Wednesday night, we'll know for sure.
