Sheldon Keefe Calls Out Maple Leafs Defense
Sheldon Keefe has no issue being a vocal head coach. This can be useful in good times, but detrimental in bad times.
The Leafs may still have a winning record, but these are absolutely bad times. After losing to the San Jose Sharks, Sheldon Keefe didn't hold back on his team's defensive struggles.
It is a lack of execution
I think it is slowing us down offensively. It is putting more stress on us defensively than we are used to having.
Sheldon Keefe is clearly concerned about his teams' recent performance, and rightfully so - but to continue bringing morale down can't be the right move.
Could Keefe's time in Toronto be coming to an end?
