Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes was very generous with first overall pick Juraj Slafkovsky.
With the signing of his contract, Slafkovsky will receive an annual bonus of $95,000 and a base salary of $855,000 (and $82,500 if he plays in the AHL). In addition, he will be eligible for $3.5 million in performance bonuses each season. Wow!
