After firing Alain Nasreddine and Mark Recchi behind the bench, the New Jersey Devils have just hired this season's Head Coach of the Year finalist, Andrew Brunette.
Brunette will be Lindy Ruff's associate coach for the Devils.
Former Florida Panthers interim head coach Andrew Brunette was fired by the Panthers following the team's four-game elimination by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Association Semifinals.
Brunette took over for Joel Quenneville behind the bench for the Panthers after only seven games last season.
