The Winnipeg Jets have placed a 25-year-old forward and former second-round pick, 47th overall on the team in 2015, Jansen Harkins on waivers.
Harkins has five points in 22 games this season, while adding nine points in six AHL games.
His salary is worth $850,000 annually through the summer of 2024.
