According to the Hockeyfeed, the Montreal Canadiens have their three choices believed to be the the next general manager of the Montreal Canadiens.
The list consists of Danny Briere, Mathieu Darche, and Kent Hughes, but hockey insider Elliotte Friedman believes that it's more down to two former Habs Danny Briere, and Mathieu Darche, with Kent Hughes being the least of the three to land the job.
Danny Briere and Mathieu Darche both played for the Canadiens. Fun fact: both were part of the Canadiens making it to the Conference finals.
Briere was part of the Canadiens team that lost to the New York Rangers in 6 games in the 2014 Eastern Conference finals and was a fan favorite during his brief time with the Habs.
Darche was part of the Canadiens' run in 2010 losing to the Philadelphia Flyers in the Eastern Conference finals in 5 games.
