If some fans found the price on resale sites to be ridiculous in the first or second round of the playoffs, they could well have a heart attack looking at the price displayed on resale sites in a few hours.

The Habs have unveiled the price of tickets for sale to the 2,500 spectators who will be present during game number 3 or 4. According to the Bell Center website, we are talking about a unit cost that varies between $ 350 and $ 700 per ticket. This is what the blog DansLesCoulisses shared on Friday morning.

The price was more reasonable in the first and second rounds of the playoffs, which is to be expected in a way. Demand will be strong to see the Habs play against the Golden Knights when we know that the formation led by Peter DeBoer contains several Quebecers, including goalkeeper Marc-André Fleury.

In the first round against the Toronto Maple Leafs, some fans shelled out over $ 8,000 for a pair of tickets at resale sites. Now imagine what will be the price paid on these same resale sites for the semi-final. If the Habs take the lead in this series and the series stretches until the sixth game, one has to imagine that the fans will be willing to pay a small fortune to see the team qualify for the final of the Stanley Cup.

In addition, public health seems very cautious to allow Geoff Molson to accommodate more than 2,500 people in the Bell Center to encourage Montreal training during parts 3 and 4. If the epidemiological situation continues to improve, a decision could be announced on Wednesday, which would allow time for the organization to sell a few thousand more tickets.

The last time the Habs qualified for the grand final, we have to go back to the 1993 edition, when the Habs won their 24th Stanley Cup in their history. Dominique Ducharme's men will have to continue their excellent work, otherwise the climb could be difficult. The Las Vegas Golden Knights finished second on the Bettman Tour.

It will be a golden opportunity for former captain Max Pacioretty to come and haunt his former team in the next round.
