It's no secret that Montreal Canadiens defenseman Jeff Petry is on his way out of Montreal.
A defenseman, who has been in the trade rumors for several years, would definitely be on the market. It is the 27-year-old right-handed defenseman, Matt Dumba.
According to a poll conducted by Michael Russo, who covers the Minnesota Wild for The Athletic, Wild fans voted 61.7 percent in favor of a trade involving Matt Dumba.
In short, it's certain that Bill Guerin will have a few phones to answer regarding his defenseman this summer, as he will become an uncompensated free agent next summer.
