Tony Marinaro suggests Gallagher to join former linemate

With the Montreal Canadiens new Excutive Vice President Jeff Gorton searching for his next General Manager for the club, Tony Marinaro a Habs radio talk show brought up an interesting trade idea. The LA Kings are going to be looking to fill the void of Dustin Brown most likely retiring at the end of this season, Tony suggested that offering Brendan Gallagher to the Kings in possible trade.
The Kings just hired former Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin as an advisor yesterday, Marc loved Brendan Gallagher, and his former line mate Philip Danault signed with the Kings in the off season, Gallagher, Danault, and Tomas Tatar were one of the Habs' best lines and had amazing chemistry together.
The Canadiens are 31st overall in the League right now and are going to be sellers at the trade deadline. Gallagher signed a new contract with an annual salary of $6,500,000 per season signed through the 2026-27 season. Gallagher has been called the Canadiens heart and soul, he was drafted in the 5th round 147th overall in 2010. Gallagher has played in 607 NHL games for the Habs and has 191 goals, 176 assists, for a total of 367 points with a +62 rating.
