As reported by Marco D'Amico of Montreal Hockey Now, the Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers would make two interesting trade partners.

The Habs have a surplus on offense and the Flyers have a surplus on defense.

Philadelphia has a problem at centre. When your second centre is Scott Laughton, there's clearly a bit of a problem on that side.

According to a proposal from Sam Carchidi (Philly Hockey Now), the Flyers have targeted three centre players, including Christian Dvorak of the Canadiens.

On the other hand, Chuck Fletcher's team has a young defenceman who could change his address.

Drafted just behind Cole Caufield at No. 14 in 2019, Cam York has four points in seven games this season in the AHL.

Here's THE proposal:

To Philadelphia: Christian Dvorak

In Montreal: Cam York and a pick.

Do you think the Flyers would say yes?

"While he has been slow to produce offensively so far this season, Dvorak continues to excel in two areas where the Flyers are struggling: His shorthanded play and faceoffs. Currently, the Flyers are 30th in the NHL in the faceoff circle with an average of about 42%, while Dvorak continues to be reliable with a 56.3% success rate so far this season.

Dvorak plays a crucial role in the Habs' power play, a defensive-minded group of players that has recently received high praise from head coach Martin St-Louis.

That's exactly what he could bring to the Flyers team if the price is right." - Marco D'Amico
