Rask told the media before the Boston game against the Devils at TD Garden what motivated him to retire:
It was time to be honest with yourself. I could have kept pushing, but what's the benefit of me playing at 60 percent...I figured it was more beneficial for everybody to call it. I had a great career. I had no regrets.
He also followed with this:
I'll be hanging out with sponsors, golfing and shaking hands in suites. I was intrigued about the business side of things anyways. I don't know what the future holds. Maybe I'll get into coaching. Maybe not. But for now, I'll be hanging out with sponsors.
Tuuka Rask was the best goalie in the league in his time and in my opinion he will become a Hall of Famer! What's do you think? Let us know below.
