The New Jersey Devils announced some very bad news to their fans, as forward Ondrej Palat underwent surgery on his groin today, following doctors' recommendations.
Unfortunately, no time frame has been announced yet. Palat is out indefinitely, but all indications are that his season is in jeopardy.
The former Lightning signed a deal through 2026-2027 with the New Jersey Devils this summer that will pay him $6 million per year.
In six games this season, the Czech had three goals.
