In case you missed it, at the very last minute of Game 6, Kucherov was seen going crazy on the bench.
We now know why he acted such a way.
We now understand a little more about what transpired, according to The Athletic reporter Joe Smith. Kucherov broke his stick with 25 seconds left in the game and went back to the bench.
The fact that the equipment manager was not immediately available to give him a new stick when he arrived at the Lightning bench angered Kucherov. Nikita flipped a solid switch and threw his gloves directly at the equipment manager in question.
He then gave up. Wow
"Kucherov broke his stick and headed for the bench. The equipment manager doesn't have one ready, so he throws his gloves by his head and gives up.
Wow." - Nasher
