According to multiple sources, the New York Rangers are interested in trading former 2019 second overall pick Kaapo Kakko.
The Finn had another rough season in New York with 18 points in 43 games.
In the playoffs, we're talking more like five points in 19 games.
Rangers head coach Gerard Gallant was asked why he left Kakko out of Game 6 of the series against the Lightning and wouldn't answer the question.
Pretty nebulous story and clearly Chris Drury will have to get rid of him this summer.
