Caufield reveals what the Canadiens need to do to beat Vasilevskiy
The Canadiens came out firing in Game 2 and looked like a completely different team compared to Game 1.
The Habs dominated the Lightning for the majority of the game however the Lightning were able to capitalize on what few chances they had and walked away with a 3-1 win and a 2-0 series lead.
It's going to be pretty hard for the Habs to win a Stanley Cup with only two goals in two games on Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy who literally stole Game 2.
Thursday morning Cole Caufield spoke to the media before jumping on a plane back to Montreal and spoke about solving Vasilevskiy in Game 3.
I don't think you need the perfect shot in this situation. We've got to stick to what works, and that's about doing the right things, what we can control. We need to get people in front of him so he can't see the puck, get rebounds, get guys to the net, and just win our battles. He's a really special goaltender and someone that's really hot right now. We've just got to keep finding ways to get it past him, and I'm sure at some point we will.
Game 3 will be Friday night in Montreal at 8:00 pm.
