Johnny Gaudreau's widow makes a heartbreaking statement after his passing
Today in a second statement Johnny Gaudreau's widow made a heartbreaking request to Matthew Gaudreau after their sudden passing.
This weekend was heartbreaking for the hockey world and the Gaudreau family. In a terrible incident, both Johnny and Matthew Gaudreu were killed by a suspected intoxicated driver named Sean Higgins.
In the days since the brothers passing the hockey world has come together in support of the grieving families. Today Meredith Gaudreau the widow of Johnny Gaudreau put out a post on Instagram with a special request for Johnny's brother Matthew.
In a tribute to Matthew, she asked him to watch over Johnny and then made assurances that she would watch over his widow Madeline and Matthew's soon-to-be-born son Tripp. The full heartfelt piece written by Meredith Gaudreau can be seen below.
