NFL employee collapses on the sidelines during the game betwen the Baltimore Ravens and the Las Vegas Raiders
An NFL employee collapsed on the sidelines during the game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday afternoon.
Football fans witnessed a scary moment when a member of the chain crew lost consciousness during the game in Baltimore.
On X, reporter Ari Meirov shared details of what happened. He said that medical officers quickly administered CPR to the employee, and he was then transported to the hospital.
Here's a statement released by the Baltimore Ravens:
"Sunday's Ravens-Raiders game at M&T Bank Stadium was paused for several minutes due to a scary incident when a member of the chain gang crew collapsed on the sideline.
Per a statement from the team, 'he was immediately attended to by medical personnel. Upon leaving the field, he was alert and responsive. He's being taken to a local hospital.'
Players, coaches, and personnel took a knee on the field in prayer for the person, who was loaded onto a stretcher and taken off the field."
In no sport do we want to see such incidents. Everyone was shocked by this event, including players and coaches, who quickly went down to the field to take a knee.
As of now, not much can be done except sending our thoughts to the employee and his family.
