It's been almost three months since Brad Treliving was named general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

He has made many important moves this summer.

Treliving's Moves

First, he signed many important players, such as Max Domi, John Klingberg, Ryan Reaves, and Tyler Bertuzzi.

Then, he extended others like Ilya Samsonov and Auston Matthews.

While these are exciting signings, we can't help but notice that Treliving hasn't yet made a single trade as a Leaf.

Could his first one come soon?

Trade Incoming?

If Brad Treliving makes a trade, it could be anything from a cap dump situation to a blockbuster trade.

They have the assets to make a big trade happen, and Treliving's first one could be as huge as trading away William Nylander.

However, the Leafs are currently over the salary cap, meaning that a cap dump situation is likely to happen. If things go in that direction, Nylander probably won't be involved.

Even though they acquired Simon Benoit yesterday, the Leafs' blue line just isn't good enough.

They need a top player at the blue line who could be a game-changer.

With Nylander on the trade block, anything is possible.
