When you have the opportunity to have a player like him, you must take it.
A major francophone radio station made a survey on Twitter about a possible trade proposition sending Connor Bedard to the Montreal Canadiens, in the event that they don't win the draft lottery.
On Tuesday morning, with only a couple of hours left to the survey, more than 5,000 people answered the question and the results aren't surprising.
41% of the respondents said that they would do it.
59% wouldn't.
So, the majority of people seem to understand the great value of the tandem. Their chemistry and their style off the ice add to it, and they become more than players. In Montreal, their popularity is constantly rising, and fans wouldn't like to see one or both of them be traded, even for Bedard.
Bedard could change the face of the franchise, but Caufield and Suzuki can too, and they are already doing it.
If Montreal wins the lottery, Caufield, Suzuki, and Bedard could make the Canadiens one of the most formidable teams in the NHL.
