NHL insider hints at imminent Buffalo Sabres blockbuster trade
It was hinted by a NHL insider that the Buffalo Sabres are rumoured to be cooking up a blockbuster trade that could go down soon.
Among all the disappointing performances we've seen this season, the Buffalo Sabres are definitely standing out. They had high hopes to finally have their breakout season, but unfortunately for Sabres' fans, they failed and ended the season at the 6th rank of the Atlantic Division.
After that tough season, the Sabres changed many things, including the head coach. They brought back Lindy Ruff to the organization.
Now, as we get closer to the draft and the opening of the free agent market, we can't help but believe other changes are coming.
According to an insider on X, the organization is actually working on something big.

The Sabres have all it takes to make a big trade happen: cap space, prospects and draft picks.
Management sure hope that what they'll do will play a key role in the next season, as they once again try to emerge from the bottom of the Atlantic Division.
