Tampa Bay Lightning trade Tanner Jeannot to the LA Kings
It was just announced that the Tampa Bay Lightning have traded forward Tanner Jeannot to the LA Kings for picks.
Moments after trading Mikhail Sergachev to the Utah Hockey Club, the Tampa Bay Lightning have traded forward Tanner Jeannot to LA.
Tanner Jeannot to Kings for a second in 2025 and 118 this year
Kings had been considering Jeannot for some time
Tampa Bay has traded Tanner Jeannot to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for 118th overall pick & 2nd round '25. The Lightning lost that trade when they acquired Jeannot from Nashville. Now the Kings lost the trade when they acquired Jeannot from Tampa Bay, in my opinion.
Jeannot was previously acquired by the Lightning for an absolute haul that is worth substantially more than this trade.
Tampa gave a 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 for Jeannot. They got a 2 and a 4 for him. A 2 and a 4 is way too much. That Nashville deal was always absurd
The Kings will now look to have Jeannot bounce back.
