There's been rumors about trading a member of the Core Four since the Leafs were eliminated from the playoffs.
Now, it looks more concrete than ever as Treliving may look to get a great defenseman for Nylander.
Dealing with Colorado
The proposed trade sends Nylander in Colorado for the young defenseman Bowen Byram.
There's a lot of defensemen in Colorado and Byram's spot could be filled by someone else in the organization.
And Nylander would bring some more offense to the Avs, which you can never have enough.
This deal would make sense and it wouldn't be surprising to see it happen.
