It was a tight game between the Colorado Avalanche and the Arizona Coyotes. Both teams battled upward in what was described as a thriller in Arizona. The game went back and forth at times and finished with a bang, as the Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar scored on his net to end the game.
The play that ended the game was an own goal by Cale Makar
Mike Bjugstad, was credited for the overtime winner goal that had ended the game, on Cale Makar's error in front of the net, by trying to secure the puck under his goalie's pad. But, unfortunately for him, he had played the puck with more force than he should have exceeded and scored on his net.
Cale Makar is a talented defenseman, who has earned his stripes as a lethal hockey player in the NHL, with his attributes leading the way. He is able to score almost anywhere in the offensive zone and knows how to play with his teammates.
