Swimmer Tamara Potocka collapses during 2024 Olympic games
The Slovakian swimmer Tamara Potocka collapsed during the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and was rushed to the hospital.
Friday morning, Potocka competed in the 200-meter individual medley at the Olympics and after her performance, the 21-year-old athlete fainted.
The medical unit immediately intervened. They placed her on a stretcher and sent her to the hospital.

Later, a new report confirmed that she had an asthma attack, and she received the proper treatments.
Potocka finished 7th in the race, ending her chances of going further in the competition in this category.
At the moment, it's unclear if Potocka's Olympic journey will end or if she'll be able to get back in the pool before the end of the swimming competitions.
