BREAKING: Massive Setback for Patrice Bergeron in Boston
Patrice Bergeron missed game 1 of the playoffs due to an illness. His situation has now changed.
Bergeron Now Suffering Injury
The Bruins' Captain missed Game 1 with an illness that appeared to be affecting many of his teammates as well.
While the Bruins prevailed without him, it was hoped the likely Selke winner would be back for Game 2. We now know however, that Bergeron's status has changed, and he is now listed as injured.
Hopefully the injury doesn't affect Bergeron long-term, as the Bruins try to prove that their record-breaking regular season wasn't a fluke.
