Weither we like it or not, fights are part of hockey and they are frequent, especially with the playoffs on the horizon. In the AHL, a player had to leave the ice after a violent tilt.
Boston Bruins Prospect Left Bleeding and Disoriented After A Violent Fight
During the game, player McLaughlin was involved in a fight and took several hard punches to the head. The impact of these blows left him visibly dazed and disoriented on the ice.
Upon reaching McLaughlin, medical staff found him covered in blood and struggling to orient himself.
The severity of McLaughlin's injury is not yet known, but it is suspected to be a head injury. We hope that McLaughlin will be able to make a full recovery.
