The Presidents Trophy winners, the Boston Bruins, got upset last night by the Florida Panthers. The game was the complete opposite of Game 1, where the Bruins controlled most of the game.
But one thing that wasn't controlled was the violence ramping up.
Frederic Choked
In an altercation between Ryan Lomberg and Trent Frederic, it appeared Frederic was getting choked. The video shows the Bruins' forward squirming his legs around, and struggling to get out from under Lomberg.
Game 3 Could Get Ugly
He ended up being fine, but Lomberg might need to keep his head up next game, because the Bruins don't take these things lightly. Chances are, the intensity and violence of these new playoff rivals will at least double going into Game 3.
That's bad news for the players' health, but great news for fans. The more hatred and physicality, the more entertaining.
