Zdeno Chara Finishes Off Incredible Boston Marathon Run in Style
Former Bruins defenseman, Zdeno Chara, decided he would give himself another challenge when he decided to run the Boston Marathon.
Chara completes Marathon
To the average person, running a marathon is something they couldn't even dream of doing but Chara is not the average person.
Sporting a custom #3333 bib (Chara's number in the NHL was 33), Chara clearly showed up in style.
Chara, who is 6'9», was easy to spot given how he was that much taller than his competition.
Chara finished the marathon in 3:38:23 which is a very swift pace averaging just over 5 minutes a kilometer for over 42 kilometers.
Chara finished the race in style by crossing the finish line with the Bruins goal song playing.
Another huge accomplishment for the man affectionately called «Big Z»
