The Maple Leafs-Bruins matchup in round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs may be the most intriguing of all, and it keeps getting more and more interesting.
Both the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs come into this first round series with hopes of a Stanley Cup run, and when it comes down to it, it may be the goaltending that wins the series. Toronto have the raw talent in Ilya Samsonov and Joseph Woll, while Boston have the tough, proven duo of Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swaymam, so which one will the Leafs face in game one?
The Boston Bruins have now revealed that they will keep that information secret until it comes time to reveal it;
"We have decided, we're not sharing it with you guys" Bruins keep a lid on starting goaltender for Game 1 vs #Leafs 🥅⤵️
Whichever name the Maple Leafs were tasked with facing in game one, it won't be easy, as the two combined for a 2.70 GAA and a .915 save percentage, making it tough on even the best lineups.
This is the playoffs however, so Toronto will be hoping to get on them early, but regardless, it appears this star studded lineup won't know who they're facing until the day this highly anticipated series begins.
