The Buffalo Sabres kicked off their season tonight against the New York Rangers. Early in the game, a Sabres defenseman got his team going by putting a player head over heels.
Dahlin Puts Ranger Forward Head Over Heels
Late in the first period of the opening game for the Buffalo Sabres, they found themselves down 2-0. Trying to get some momentum back defenseman Rasmus Dahlin laid a big hip check on a Rangers forward.
Dahlin laid a big hit which brought some momentum to the struggling Sabres who are now looking to climb back into the game.
Dahlin Looking To Lead The Sabres To New Heights
The Buffalo Sabres enter the 2023-24 NHL season with some big expectations. Many are thinking they could end the longest current playoff drought in the NHL.
Dahlin will be a big part of this after having a breakout season last year. He had 73 points in 78 games and will look to improve upon this heading into the new season. One thing is for sure Rasmus Dahlin has started his season with a bang.
