Anonymous NHL Player Shares His Thoughts On Darryl Sutter
The Calgary Flames did what was best for the franchise and fired head coach Darryl Sutter. All though many believe they should of done it sooner before General Manager Brad Treliving decided to step down.
There is also numerous issues of clashes between Sutter and players including former Flame Johnny Gaudreau and Sutter last season, and the issues with Jonathan Huberdeau.
Now that Sutter is no longer in the Flames Organization a Anonymous player who didn't want to be named would share his opinion of Sutter as a coach.
"Darryl Sutter was the most negative person, let alone coach, I have ever come across in my career. He would be little his players in a team setting constantly and went as far as to not feed grown men on the airplane because we lost a hockey game.
In my opinion that's absolutely pathetic and I hope Sutter never gets another coaching job again. Hockey is meant to be played for fun, yes teams want to win but to be someone like Darryl Sutter isn't a good thing for hockey.
