Emergency Backup Goalie May Be Put Into Action in Chicago
The trade deadline has passed, and you'd think that every team would have made a move to benefit them further. That was not the case in tonight's game between the Ottawa Senators and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Cam Talbot was a late minute scratch for tonight's matchup. He is dealing with a lower body injury which will keep him out of the lineup. The call up for the game did not make it in time, so a familiar face will step into the crease.
Scott Foster will take the crease if need be and dress for Ottawa. Ironically, in 2018 he stepped in the crease for the Blackhawks and made seven saves in his time on the ice. Maybe he will secure another win as the EBUG.
