Gary Bettman continues to say that tanking doesn't happen in the NHL.
But it has never been more obvious that teams are tanking hard for Bedard. There are a number of teams who are historically bad this season and aren't even trying to cover their tracks.
The Chicago Blackhawks are on another level.
Blackhawks Blatantly Tanking
They sold off any player who had literally any value whatsoever and then put Anton Khudobin out there, who is the definition of washed up. Lo and behold, this happens:
