A wild turn of events has occurred with the Corey Perry controversy. A new interview with NBC Blackhawks broadcaster John Scott has just revealed major information on the story.
The NBC broadcaster said that the whole incident all started with Perry getting drunk and made an advancement towards another NBC broadcaster.
Corey Perry was a model citizen in the NHL for like, 18 years. He made a mistake in Columbus one night, he drank too much and he made a pass at a staff member who worked at NBC. And then Chicago, in the environment that they live in now, if there's any hint of anything like that, they just get rid of everything.
Scott believes that even though this incident happened that Perry does not have character issues rather he still a model citizen.
If what Scott's story is true then it is a minor incident that saw him get fired. However with what the Blackhawks have just gone through it is a precautionary step that may have been needed to be done.
This may have worked out for both parties as Perry is now on one of the hottest teams in the league and Chicago can show improvement on their management.
