Sheldon Keefe's surprising lineup decision against the Winnipeg Jets
The Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe announced a major decision for the next game, tomorrow, against the mighty Winnipeg Jets.
In a surprising statement, Keefe said that Ilya Samsonov will be between the pipes against the Jets tomorrow.
Sheldon Keefe says Ilya Samsonov will start against the Jets on Wednesday.
After playing very well against the Seattle Kraken on Sunday, Keefe will trust him to repeat that performance against the Jets.
Winnipeg will look to bounce back after a crushing defeat last night against the Boston Bruins, that ended their 34-game streak of allowing three goals or less.
Updates will follow.
