Coming off a Stanley Cup Win, Gabriel Landeskog had the chance to go for a repeat. Unfortunately, injuries have kept him out.

Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog is the heart and soul of the 2022 cup winning team.

He's been captain of the Avs since he was 19 years old, and he would have been a major boost to both the regular season and the playoffs.

Unfortunately, the Avalanche have now announced that Landeskog will not play in the playoffs due to injuries.

Hopefully he will be back next season to fight for another title.
