Facing the critical final games of the season, the Colorado Avalanche will be without their premier defenseman.
Head Coach Jared Bednar disclosed on Thursday that lower-body injuries have sidelined both star defenseman Cale Makar and valuable forward Darren Helm for an indefinite period, according to Kyle Fredrickson's report in the Denver Gazette. Bednar also emphasized that these are new injuries, not merely ongoing issues from previous ailments.
