Young Blue Jackets Forward Pulls off the Ultimate Michigan Goal
The Michigan is an incredibly impressive play that involves flipping the puck onto your stick blade while doing a wrap around, to pop the puck over the goalies shoulder. It wounds impressive, and with a bit of practice, one can pull it off somewhat consistently during practice. It is incredibly rare for someone to be able to pull it off during a game, but a young player on the Blue Jackets made it happen.
Johnson Scores with the Michigan!
During a game between the Blue Jackets and the Islanders, Kent Johnson managed to break the 2-2 tie in the end of the 2nd period by scoring the Michigan.
Pulling off the Michigan is impressive, but it is even more impressive to pull it off on the anniversary of the first ever Michigan goal, a feat that Johnson can proudly say he accomplished.
