The Dallas Stars completely disrespected the Edmonton Oilers after winning game two.

The Dallas Stars stirred controversy by playing "La Bamba" after their game two win against the Edmonton Oilers, disrespecting a significant tribute song for the Oilers and their fans.

The Oilers have been using the song "La Bamba" after every home game win as a tribute to Joey Moss, who passed away in 2020, and Ben Stelter, a young fan who passed from cancer in 2022. This tribute holds deep meaning for the team and its supporters.

"Lore check for those in need, the @EdmontonOilers play «La Bamba» as tribute to Joey Moss who passed in 2020, it was his favorite song. Ben Stelter who was close to the team popularized «Play La Bamba Baby» passed in 2022. It's about as sacred as the anthem for the team."

It's safe to say that the Oilers should go into the next game with extra motivation to beat the Stars.

The song has a very special meaning for the Oilers and the Stars made fun of that. We often see teams engage in such mind games during the playoffs, but some people believe it crossed a line.
