After a huge trade just got finalized, the main piece has just inked his long term stay with his new team.

The Detroit Red Wings have just finalized an extension with their newly acquired superstar Alex DeBrincat. The extension is worth 4 years at around a $7.875M AAV range.

The trade has two players and a pick going back to Ottawa, per James Nichols.
